The Ruben Brown Foundation was established for the purpose of raising and distributing funds to youth service and enrichment programs. Established in 2001 by Ruben Brown, a lifelong member and advocate of the Salvation Army. Ruben came from a family of 4 children and spent most of his afternoons and evenings at his local salvation army. Ruben credits a large part of his success to the fact that he was fortunate enough to spend his free time in the positive and nurturing environment of great programs. At The Ruben Brown Foundation, we believe that every young person is endowed with special gifts. It is our mission to ensure these youths have an opportunity to enhance and develop their gifts.

Some of the organizations that have benefited from The Ruben Brown Foundation are – Dreams Take Flight, The Bo Henson Foundation, Buffalo Prep, Inner City youth football, Camp Good Days, Salvation Army (Virginia, Chicago, and Buffalo), The Community Foundation of Greater Buffalo, high school and youth athletic programs, and many in time of need donations.
